KUCET – 2008: ADMISSION NOTIFICATION

Applications in the prescribed form are invited for the Common Entrance Tests (KUCET – 2008) for admission into various Post-Graduate and P.G. Diploma courses offered under semester system / year wise in

M.A. Telugu, English, Hindi, Economics, Political Science, Public Administration, History, Sociology; M.Sc. Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Bio-Chemistry, Micro-Biology, Bio-Technology, Mathematics (including Statistics), Physics (including Engineering Physics & Instrumentation), Computer Science; Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM), Master of Tourism Management (MTM), Master of Social Work (MSW), M. Com., M. Com. (Financial Accounting); P.G. Diploma Course in Sericulture (PGDS) and M. L. I. Sc.

M.Ed. (2007-08)

at the University Constituent Colleges and Private Affiliated Colleges under the jurisdiction of Kakatiya University for the academic year 2008-09. The eligibility criteria, Details of the courses offered at various Colleges, Fee Structure and Admission Rules are given in the information brochure. Candidates who have passed or those candidates who have appeared for final year of the qualifying examination are eligible to apply.. Admissions will be made on the basis of the Marks obtained in the Entrance Test by the Directorate of Admissions, Kakatiya University.

The Application Form along with Information Brochure can be obtained from the Directorate of Admissions, Kakatiya University, Warangal, on payment of Rs. 150/- either in cash or by submitting a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, KUCET A/c. Payable at SBH, Kakatiya University Branch (2262), Warangal. Candidates can also obtain application(s) by post by sending the Demand Draft for Rs.150/- along with a self-addressed stamped envelope (35 x 25 cms) duly affixing Rs.42/- worth postage stamps.

1. Sale of Application Forms from : 02-4-2008 (10.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.)

2. Last date for receipt of filled in application forms

a. Without Late Fee : 30-4-2008 (upto 5.00 p.m.)

b. With a Late Fee of Rs.200/- : 07-5-2008 (upto 5.00 p.m.)

c. With a Late Fee of Rs.500/- : 14-5-2008 (upto 5.00 p.m.)

d. With a Late Fee of Rs.1,000/- : 21-5-2008 (upto 5.00 p.m.)

3. Commencement of Entrance Tests from : 26-5-2008.

Note:

1. Read the instructions given in the information brochure for further details.
2. Separate application form should be submitted for each course.
3. Kakatiya University will not be responsible for any postal delay or loss of application forms.
4. University reserves the right not to conduct Entrance Test in those courses where the number of applications received is inadequate.
5. There is no Entrance Test for M.A. (Sanskrit), PG Diploma in Clinical Biochemistry and M. Sc. (Geology) Courses. Interested Candidates can apply and attend on the day of Counseling with required fee and necessary certificates. Eligibility criteria and fee details are available in Kakatiya University Website.

7. Date of First Phase Counseling for Admission will be intimated in the Marks Card. No separate Call Letters will be sent to the Candidates.
8. 5% Supernumerary seats in each course are available to the candidates belongs to outside Andhra Pradesh.
9. 15% Supernumerary seats are also available to Foreign Students in each course without Entrance Test.
